A few months ago I had the honor of photographing the Reus’ stunning Perona Farms wedding day in Andover, New Jersey! It was definitely one I’ll never forget. There was so much excitement and joy that filled the entire venue, and I couldn’t wait to get started! Even with the snow on the ground, that didn’t stop us from having the most magical day!
One of my favorite moments of the day is the anticipation and quiet excitement during the preparation. Whether capturing close-ups of the bride’s delicate lace dress or the groom’s polished cufflinks, I could sense their eagerness from the start! They each got ready in separate areas surrounded by their bridal parties and parents. After they were all ready, it was finally time for that special moment. The first look was a beautifully touching moment. With the sun beating down on the frosty Perona Farms, the groom’s stunned reaction to his radiant bride was priceless! Immediately after the first look, I stole them away from some beautiful bride and groom portraits before the chaos of the day ensued.
Next, it was time for the ceremony! As the couple stood in front of a beautiful greenery wall, surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged handwritten vows to one another. When they finally kissed, the room erupted with so much excitement! It was one of those moments you feel like you could burst from happiness, and I captured every minute of it. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy the cocktail hour. I got to capture so many candid moments during this time of friends and family mingling and sharing stories! After that, the bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception followed by the now Mr. and Mrs. Reus!
For the next few hours, everyone laughed, made toasts, and danced the night away! Overall, capturing the Reus’ Perona Farms wedding day was an unforgettable experience! The love and happiness were palpable throughout the event and reflected in every single photograph. From the quiet preparations in the morning to the vibrant party at night, every element of the wedding at Perona Farms came together to create a beautiful and memorable celebration. Cheers to the beautiful journey ahead!
